Kowalskis

When an apple falls really, really far from the tree, you get Henry Kowalski.  If his grandpa, Stanely Kowalski, was a macho man who possessed an animalistic physical vigor and love of gambling, bowling, sex, and drinking, Henry is the polar opposite.  At the end of Street Car Named Desire we are presented with an image of Stanely, the ideal family man comforting his wife and their newborn child.  Guess what?  Stanley got tired of being called a Polack, packed their belongings and moved the family back to Poland.  Now two generations later, Henry moves back to America with his newlywed wife, Connie, to follow in the footsteps of his grandpa.
